Woodland knits for Canopy Art

I have been kept away from blogging for the past few weeks as I have been busy knitting up some woodland animals for Canopy Art, and just wanted to share some pics with you.

The Canopy Art Woollen Woods exhibition will be displayed in trees in the National Trust property Acorn Bank in the Eden Valley, Cumbria from April 2013.  Knitted pieces will transform the woodland in an outdoor exhibition of artwork, and I so hope my little creations will be accepted.

The brief was to create anything woollen that would be found in the woods, and in addition to the little birdies and nest, I am submitting my squirrel, ladybird, mouse, and a few berries, acorns and mushrooms.

I hope my pieces are accepted, and if you are interested in contributing too, check out their website for details at canopyart.co.uk.

Happy woodland knitting!
