What a hoot!

I must thank my lovely postman for battling through the snow to deliver the latest issue of Let’s Get Crafting magazine this morning, especially as my design for a sleepy owl cushion was featured on the front cover!

Thank you postie!  And thank you also to the lovely team at Let’s Get Crafting for all their support.

My owl knitting pattern is in issue 48 of Let’s Get Crafting Knitting & Crochet magazine, which is available now, and also has some super projects for your wardrobe and home ….  I will be having a go at Lucinda Ganderton’s bow necklace to use up some of my yarn stash.

Happy knitting!

  1. I am very grateful that my lovely postman (who also trudged through the snow) who delivered my LGC. I love your Owl Cushion and will be on the to-do list asp. I agree with Faye – your talents are endless. Well done.

  2. Oh how wonderful that I found your site accidentally- I have only just finished knitting your owl project! I bought the issue purely because of your design. I’m trying to get better at knitting (I have until this point only knit squares or rectangles!) and wanted something that would get me to learn some new skills (colour work, primarily) and found this perfect. Considering I had never followed a pattern before, or attempted Intarsia I found it to be very clear and easy to follow, and so easy to adapt for different colours to suit different rooms. I am thrilled to bits with the adorable owl I have as a result- thank you!

  3. This is amazing! I love owls. Is there anywhere I would buy the pattern? I have searched all over the net and cannot seem to find anywhere to buy the issue this was featured in :-( . Big sad face. Please help!!! X
