If you are looking for a home for your pencils and pens, cosmetics, or just as a cute gift idea, this little knitted cottage case is homely and quaint.
The finished case is approximately 18.5 cm wide and 14 cm high.
If you would like to make your own case, the knitting pattern is free! Here is the link the free pattern on Ravelry, or you can also grab a copy from my “free for you” page.
You will need less than 25g each of light green, red, blue, white, yellow and grey double knit wool. The case is knitted flat using 4mm straight needles, and can be sewn together by hand. You will also need an 18cm or 7 inch zipper. The pattern includes instructions on how to add a fabric lining if you wish. You should be familiar with sewing in zippers to make the case.
The free pattern includes row by row knitting instructions, a knitting chart, and photos of the finished case.
This is the first time I have tried making a knitting chart, so I hope it is easy to follow!
Happy knitting!

Thank you ma’am for the pattern and for both row by row and chartered instructions. I personally am intimidated by charts.
